Good position but room for improvement.

Position. Proximity to Al-Balad. Nice food.

Some staff can be surly and unhelpful but others are much more friendly. The restaurant was always empty but I had some good food there. It seems that they encourage you to have room service. The first room I had had a faulty toilet and I asked to be moved. Next room was fine but no towels provided and I had to phone reception to get some sent up.

Newly furnished and really clean rooms

Room was very clean and newly furnished, everything was new, pool is on duty, WIFI is fine Calm place.. location served my purposes and near taci station Soliman from rcp was helpful

Needed to ask for new towel twice.. need to ask for room drinking water daily.. almost no restaurants around except one Pakistani

This hotel is perfect location for discovery and old Djeddah. The room is confortable and very clean.

We are obliged to ask a over room because the first one is not the same of booking. We would have like friendlier staff.

Pleasant

The location was good, as it was near to the main SAPCO bus station, as well as walking distance to the old area of Al Balad. Staff were very helpful and polite and did their best to sort out our issues (not enough towels, tv signal not working, not enough cups for tea, etc), as quickly as they could. The hotel felt very quiet, which was possibly why the facilities were not all in action.

The room was grubby in places and had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom was unclean and there was some faeces on the floor in the shower. I had to clean it myself to make it a bit better. There was damage to the desk unit, which needed repairing. The pool was out of action as it was empty and being repaired. The gym facilities did not look to be in use at all. There was an extra tax added to the bill, which was not expected or shown on the booking.

1. After check in, i found room was not cleaned. Having dust, and bed has too many hair from previous guests. I cant understand how such thing happened. However, they immediately sent room service to clean the room. 2. Pool and gym is not working. They should mention this on booking. 3. Water basin in toilet is leaking. 4. The security at parking not available all time, and i got stuck waiting him to open the parking till i decided to use the exit as entrance. 5. The couch in room is having many holes from cigerates of previous customers and is not clean. 6. Food service is not buffet, and served at room. It is overpriced and not consistent quality. 7. The elevator smell is not good. 8. Pillow is too big that didnt allow me to sleep well. These all might impact my decision to come back, and i suggest that management should take care of these observation to let customer be loyal and come back.

Room was nice, but hotel lacks services

The room and bathroom were recently renewed, really good looking. Note: not all rooms are renewed, the hotel still have the old ones. Room and bathroom were clean. Tea filter, water. Spacy parking place.

The receptionists -though were helpful- spoke no English. The building is worn down. They do not have many of the services they claim to have: no daily cleaning, no airport shuttle (see below), swimming pool did not operate, wifi is terribly unreliable, once I even had to change floor as a remedy, at other time one of the londiners shared his mobile wifi in the reception area for an urgent mail. Really unprofessional. I asked airport transfer twice. At first the receptionist turned me to one of the londiners, who offered his friend to take me to the airport. The guy did not show up at all. Next another receptionist acknowledged the request (though I was not sure that he fully understood the request because used Google translator), for price he said three 2.5 times of the normal taxi price. He did not even noted down the request. I suspected that it was a same fishy private business as the first attempt, so finally I did not use their "service".

Staffs were so friendly, rooms were very good looking and the location was absolutely stunning.
